Aprill 2008: Get Some Spring in Your Life

1 Day Course - GBP £95.00

Dates & Duration of Day: 26th April 2008: 10am - 5pm (1hr lunch)

Venue: Lancaster Hall Hotel 35 Craven Terrace London W23EL Nearest Tube Lancaster Gate (central Line)

April is a time to think about changes - off with the old and introduce the new. Cleaning out areas of your life may help you to spring clean your working life, your relationships, your social life or life in general. What is in your cupboard that you can´t bear to open or bring out into the open?

In psychodrama we will help you to face the issues you have stored away and not yet been brave enough to face. The decision is whether to keep them, or throw them away.

The workshop will:

Use a warm up technique to help you unravel how you are thinking and feeling in the present.

Use drama and script writing to create characters that will help you explore the areas you wish to change.

  • Use scenarios that you have created to find areas that you want to change.
  • Get insight and understanding in how to make these changes.
  • Once you decide the area you want to change we will help you work towards achieving this goal
  • Be confident you will create and sustain a New Me.
  • Structure your ideas to maintain the changes.
  • Introduce diaries to maintain the changes
  • Be confident you will create and sustain a New Me.

There will be two refreshment breaks (am and pm) tea and coffee provided and one lunch break with lunch

JULY 2008: Bereavement and Loss

1 Day Course - GBP £95.00

Dates & Duration of Day: 26th July 2008: 10am - 5pm (1hr lunch)

Venue: Lancaster Hall Hotel 35 Craven Terrace London W23EL Nearest Tube Lancaster Gate (central Line) This 1 day therapeutic workshop is an opportunity to come and explore your feelings around loss. This may be through family or friends moving away, divorce, separation or bereavement

We all need a space to be able to grieve and often we feel we have to put on a brave face for everyone else around. This encounter group will help you to explore your experiences in connection with loss. We will help you explore the material we all carry around with us and help you learn how to let go of it and find closure

This workshop will:

Give you a safe place to look at loss

  • Help you gain an understanding of how loss is affecting your everyday life & relationships
  • Help you overcome your obstacles in life
  • Help you understand you are not alone with these feelings
  • Help you find a goal to move forward to
  • Help you in taking control and setting future goals
  • Help you create more opportunities for yourself.

There will be two refreshment breaks (am and pm) tea and coffee provided and one lunch break

December 2008: Families - we can't escape them

1 day course £95.00

The workshop will explore transgenerational work. To gain an understanding of our lives in relation to the rest of our families.

Our lives can be affected not only by our families in the present but also by family from our past that we may never have known or met. Stories related through our families is often our only knowledge of some family members and we are told that we are "just like" a family member.

In the workshop we will:

  • Explore your family tree – through your own personal stories.
  • Gain a knowledge of yourselves through your families
  • Understand how the past affects the present in your family relationships
  • Look at the specific relationship you would like to encounter differently
  • Practice through psychodrama a different outcome.

This 1 day therapeutic workshop is an opportunity to come and share your feelings around losing someone close to you. This may be through family or friends moving away, divorce, separation or death.

We all need a space to be able to grieve and often we feel we have to put on a brave face for everyone else around.

This encounter group will help you to be able to share your experiences and whilst not be swaddled in self pity, there will be space to explore your feelings in connection with the person you have lost.

The workshop will help you to:
